Word 2007 user interface is entirely different as compare to all previous versions. Tens of additional features have been added in this new version so Word 2007 is setting new standards in
Word Processing.
Unlike previous versions of Microsoft Word, the default font of Word 2007 is “Calibri”. Many people including me like this change. But if you are among those who like “Times New Roman” font and want to set this one as “Default Font in Word 2007”, so you can do this by following very simple steps mentioned below. Moreover you can set any font type, style and font size as your default in Word 2007 by following the same method.
- Open “Font Dialog Box” located in the “Font Section” of the “Home” tab of ribbon
- You can do this by simply pressing “Ctrl+D” from your keyboard or with the help of your mouse (see the picture below)
- Select the font type, size, style and any effect you want to add and click “Default” (see the picture below)
- Word 2007 will ask you to confirm the changes you made in default settings, Click “Yes”
